(Photo by Assawin Pinitwong)TAK: A local man was killed by a wild elephant while he and a friend were foraging for food near their village in Tha Song Yang district on Wednesday. Arpue Khirinoi, 42, told police that he and Lola Wiangpana, 51, went out to collect wild produce this morning. Without warning, a wild elephant ran out of the forest towards Lola. Tha Song Yang district chief Suebpong Nimpoolsawat led police and rescue workers in search of Lola.
